Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!
So I got the new wheels in took them over to NTB. I didn't realize they would need special lug/bolts...
Apparently niether did they. The ones I had are to long and they "may" have messed up the emergency brake with them.
So now they say I need the Mercedes spare tire bolt.. what? Do spares have studs?

Bolts and studs are two different types of way to mount the rim to the car, what the guy was telling you is that you need shorter lug bolts since yours are too long.
Either way you need to buy the spacers or 20 lug bolts, or 10 if its only interfering with the rear e-brake cables although I would be concerned with the bolts being to long for the front ones as well, do a search for wheel spacers you might find some more information from other members who have change their rims, and have used the spacers. If not search the internet for them and for a place thats near you to see when you could get them.
Thank you for the info... I'm feeling a lot better now. I had a friend do the leg work. He found 20 of the bolts I need and is taking them over. God bless good friends!
He checked the brakes as well and assets its all good...
*breathing a sigh of relief*

I hate to revive a dead thread but I'm considering ordering these exact rims and wanted to see what kind of tires you went with and where you bought them from? I see a lot of them on Ebay..
I had just replaced the tires before I found these, so I kept what I had, Kuhmo I think.
However, when it's time to replace them again, I think it would be best to go with wider than what I have right now.

Nice car and wheels, I have a black roadster with stern hyperblacks.
Have you had any problems with your Sterns? Im getting vibration in the front wheels. I was wondering if you know what spacers you are using in the front?

Char, the rims really add a bit of a 'menacing' look to the car- great!
I was wondering, how is rear window holding up? I've been fortunate so far but still worry that mine may come loose too. I purchased a 'pop top' cover and use it whenever it's parked outside- top up or down. It is made of Kevlar and does a pretty good job of reducing the heat beneath it. I'm hoping that may help to prolong the inevitable.
