Cool Houston

Hey guys and gals. It seems like everyone has been busy this summer but lets try to get a GTG planned. I looked around and didn't see any events that stuck out over the next few weeks so I'm thinking maybe we could hang out one Saturday evening for food and drinks. I know we normally do the lunch thing but with it being so damn hot I figured a cold drink in the evening sounded good. There has been some interest from new crossfire owners and others who haven't been to a gtg in awhile so lets try to make it happen and get a good turnout.

Post any ideas you might have or suggestions for a restaurant/bar. Also any dates that you can't go. Let's try not to drag our feet on this and get something finalized by next Friday the 16th. That gives us about a week to iron out the details.

I'm not in Houston right now, but I would suggest trying to get a bunch of crossfires together and heading over to Cars and Coffee in the Galleria area the first saturday of every month. 8a-10a. Then you could all go for a cruise or just part ways there.

...and the Houston Cars and Coffee generally has some amazing and expensive autos there.

Well I am back from vacation and ready to go. How about we take a trip up to Lake Conroe, find a restaurant or Ice House up there and just chill?

I'm in for Lake Conroe unless someone has a better idea. What about the first weekend in August 7-8?

Done the Cars & Coffee and you are right about the cars. It's like an exotic car show. So many rides I can only dream of owning.

Not if you want her to speak to you again. I just put a date out there. We can plan the GTG for any weekend. How is your schedule the rest of the month?

Question from the hills. Who sold their 2004 Charcoal Cpe 6 speed in Houston? It's on a National car lot in Kerrville asking $11,000.00?

I will be at Cars & Coffee and our GTG on either 8/14 or 15th whichever garners the most interest.

The Cars N Coffee this month was pretty lite as some roads were still wet. Still some Ferrari's and a couple Lambo's showed up. Hope for better in Aug.

I'm looking forward to a CGT....Just let me know in advance...I would probably like to do something later in the day as it cools down a bit and meet somewhere and have a couple of cold drinks also. I live in the Clear Lake area.

How about we pick up SH 249 to SH 149 to 1097. Take 1097 across the lake and stop at the Upper Deck Restaurant and Lounge?

What about that outdoor bar on 45 near the Hardy toll road. We met there last summer. Don't remember the name.
