Smile New Crossfire!

I traded my beautiful gray coupe for an outstanding '06 Inferno Red Roadster 6 speed with black/ivory interior. If I did it right, it will show in my avatar.

Here goes......

Didn't get to see much of the gray, hopefully we'll see more of the red. Congrats.

Geez Bill, was that another shot? I love my Crossfire but let me try to put things into perspective- we also have a motorhome which we enjoy... and it is a significantly larger (let's say maybe 6X) investment then the roadster. So it would be foolish not to put it to good use as well.

And another thing; I'll probably show this one as well. I do get lots of enjoyment (not to mention fulfillment) out of that activity.

So if I don't make that many GTG's please don't take it personally and please don't think I don't enjoy my car. It's nothing personal, but we do have other activities in our life as well.

This applies to all CTC members. It's understandable not every member can attend every GTG now and then. I do not take it personal as there are more than just one member in the club. It just bugs me, why you may ask, it is because I care. There are a few of us that do make it to most of the GTGs because we enjoy our Crossfires and our friends. Personally if I miss a GTG , I feel I am letting the other members down who do attend and not having a good turnout, but that is just me. If we all felt that way, we would have a great turnout at every GTG. It also gives me an opportunity to get some miles on my garage queen. There are no dues, just giving up a few hours of time, a meal, gas and miles per month. Yes, we all have things to do that are important in our lives. Only one day out of every month for just a few hours do we have the opportunity to get together with our cars and friends that were made through having at least this one thing in common. The club is all about socializing, showing our cars, having fun and making friends. The socializing is setting aside the time to visit with the friends that were made through the club. Showing our cars to the public is to entertain them as they don't normally see Crossfires in large numbers. Having fun while doing this, what is the purpose of being part of any club if we are not enjoying each others company and having fun?
