I've been to a bunch of these and the weathers going to be perfect! This place is likely to be packed and huge so the sooner we get there, the closer to the action we'll be.
I'm shooting for 8 or maybe a little earlier and definately up for a cruise afterwards

From what I understand it gets incredibly packed. I would suggest getting there before 8 if you want to park your car in a place to get foot traffic.

I will be back for the May one, we can definitely get a group and roll in together next month.

Have fun this month.

Fun morning! Got there at 8. Waaaay too late. The place was already slam packed! Lambo's and Ferrari's everywhere.
Where do people get all this money???

Met up with Magred and Noles, scoped out some cars and went for a cruise.
After gunning it, the motor started freaking out. It backfired and conked out. After starting it, it was stuck on a really high rev and then sputtered some more.
I"m thinking "Oh Krap!".
Magred found a sensor behind the blower that popped out and Noles was able to reinstall it.
PROBLEM FIXED!

THANK YOU MAGREDVET AND NOLES!!!

Start thinking about the next C&C for May. It would be nice to get a few cars together.

I hate to say it...but I told you so

the Houston C&C is one of the biggest in the country and the car market in Houston is even bigger. This is one event you do not want to sleep in for...

Also, I will be going next month, very early...

Well if you take Lake Houston towards the Beltway, you will run right by where I will be staying for a few months when I get back...so at least you and I can meet up that early.

I think the Beltway to 290 is still the fastest way to get there, so that would probably not be a bad idea from the NE side of town.

If you have an "EZ TAG", you're there in 20 minutes. 8 to 249 and N about 5 miles.
I'll take 8 to 45 then onto the feeder to avoid the tolls. The feeders are actually kind of fun without the traffic.

I already have my EZTag set up. We can do whatever though. If you want to take the feeders we can still do so from Beltway 8 and Lake Houston Pkwy. Either way, we can figure it out closer to next C&C.
