Need a T30 TPMS programmer in San Antonio
I have the orange electronic TPMS sensors that the dealer nor discount tire can program. I need to find someone with a T30 programmer to try and get these things programmed before dropping a ton more money on new ones to replace my new ones.....
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm wondering if you can't contact ATEQ and maybe see about a distributor in your area.. which could then lead to a shop with the VT55 programmer? Still have your old TPM sensors for and ID retrieval right?
VT55 TPMS Tool with ID-cloning from ATEQ Corporation
Too bad we don't have contacts in Japan.. they seem as common as a Honda over there!
Edit: I did find some other forums where users have purchased the T30 programming tool.. Dunno if you want to bother with trying to contact them though..

Here is where I got my inspiration for the mistake;

I got them from some on-line distributor that shipped directly from Orange Electronic North America that is now dissolved as an entity and sold out to a guy in Japan.
Thanks for the links, I'll keep you guys posted. Bummer

I kinda took that "inspiration for my mistake" as a personal insinuation ... If that's the case don't be shy about pointing a finger.. The T30 programmer was available at the time I posted finding those.
I have access to an orange programmer here in Cincinnati. Sorry it is not mine to send out. James
PS send me your sensors and an ID to write to them

Thank you for taking the time and finding an avenue for me to investigate.
You had the sensors installed at Discount. Did you order them through discount? Why didn't you do what I did and get the OEM sensors through Discount at wholesale cost like I did so they could be programmed by the Chrysler Dealer? Discount gave me credit for what I paid for the aftermarket sensors.

Thank you James. I may take you up on the offer. I appreciate it.
Well I kinda feel a stake in these too.. mine being an 04 so the need to replace is not far off, and I would prefer to go this route. I don't think the Japanese owner has any intent of closing the doors, it may just take a little time to get back fully into the US market.
I took my wheels off and into discount to have the sensors removed and replaced with standard valves but learned that they can't install regular valves in wheels with a factory TPMS. Anyone ever heard of this?
The guy promised me that his manager (who of course wasn't there yeasterday) knew everything there is to know and that he has successfully programed orange electronic sensors in the past. He recomended I bring it by another day and have them try to program them before going any further. They don't have a T30 tool but they do have their universal scaner tool that has worked in the past. I am pesimistic about it. They of course recomended that I trash the brand new orange electronic ones and buy their $70 each EZ sensors.
I wanted to remove them and install standard ones while I sent them to James for program but I can't even do that now.

From what I've read on this subject, it's a federally mandated system.. kinda like pulling the seat belts out for saving weight .. big no no.. You never did (that I can recall) verify you have the old ones for getting the ID from to program the new ones? If not the only place you will get them from is the cars system itself. All this has me looking at the complete system with the read out. Tells you individual tire pressures and temperatures.
The stem can be removed from the transmitter, so the stem alone cane be used. Not legal though and if the red light was on would probably fail any safety checks and may set a code as well.
I do have the old ones, they are still mounted in the old wheels with old tires in storage. They were all working when they cam off a few months ago. Discount said that they wouldn't need the old ones to program the new ones (even more suspicious).
They did say that installing standard stems in TPMS systems wasn't allowed due to liablity and insurance. This is in addition to them not touching my care because of the spacers required for the wheels that I chose.

So how do you get the proper ID without the old ones? JC
I asked that very question to the Manager "Fred" today and he said that it can't be done. I have to have the old sensors to get the code from that he is able to do with the Discount tire programmer. He didn't think (he is calling around today to verify) that he could write to the orange electronic sensors without the specific T30 tool though. He said that the crossfires from '06 and later are easier to program with the factory computer and he has had problems with earlier models like my '05 in the past.

And he doesn't "have" to have the T30 .. only an updated VT55 TPMS Tool with ID-cloning from ATEQ Corporation as I've stated before in this thread.
