Crashed My Crossfire Saturday
I think Its Totalled
Guy in a pickup slammed on the brakes and I responded too slow
and rear ended him....... front of my car is toast

Just got it 3 months ago

I was looking forward to cruzin with the group again

This was my second crossfire

maybe the last..................

Hey look on the bright side .................get the insurance money and buy a 6 ...............i may know where there's a nice modded one for sale

 

Think Its time to cut my losses and go in a new direction
I just started paying on this crossfire loan and I fear it will be upside down
blue book is not that good on these cars have to wait and see.

Still have my Honda S2000
My Harley And the 66 Chevy Pick-up

Honda is in the shop getting a new Stage 2 competition Clutch and light flywheel
Think I may just fucus on it for a while

Maybe I will bring it out some time or the truck or bike

my garage was overflowing anyway

Glad you didn't get hurt! Always sorry to hear an XF is gone. Magredvet has an SRT6 forsale and it is a good one, think about it. If I had a job I would be thinking about it.

Yes it was running fine
and it pulled over to the side of the road no problem
and the door gap was ok on both sides
do they have an oil cooler in the front?
cause it lost a lotta oil......

 

From the picture it looks like an N/A
No oil cooler that I am aware of, and I have had the front cover off.
The transmission connects into the radiator for cooling.
There is a cooling line for the power steering at the front ......

Glad you are OK. At least you werent on your Harley. Its easy to rearend someone on one of those because they stop soooo sloooooww JK Good luck with insurance. Thats why I ALWAYS take the GAP.

 

Yea the brakes are so much better on my S2000
thats why its my daily driver......
It also handles better
probably about 600 lbs lighter
but it looks like a 19yr old should be driving it ......LOL

I look more like I belong in the XF than the (ricer)

 

I tried to open the hood but couldnt budge it
something must of punched the pan or the front of the engine
I may not hear anything for a week they said
Im a little more optimistic now than I first was
if not there will be some more spare parts on the market soon
for you guys.......

 

Well its done
They totalled it!!!!
but it was not so bad
I ended up with a $1200.00 check for the difference
Wasnt upside down after all.......
they stated the value at $9400.00
