I don't see a list of who is going to Murphy's. What is the plan? July 6 is getting close. My plans have changed so, I'm going to make it.

I never saw a list, but I did see where they were talking about meeting at Murphuy's at 4PM.
I'm going to cars and coffee in Houston first. Should leave around 10:30am and head toward Kerrville area. I just figured I would drive a few of the twisties then end up at Murphy's at 4pm. After dinner is over I will drive back to Houston. Should make it back about the time it gets dark.

 

Me personally will be going on the 6th since we are 2hrs away from la grange. We should be staying till the 7th or the 8th. Because I have never been to la grange even though I have gone to San Antonio. So we will be booking a hotel room today or tommorow so we have time to get ready for the event. I think it would be best if you are like more than 8 or 9 hours away then I could recommend a hotel about half way to la grange.

 

I don't know about cars and coffie but I am 90% sure i will be able to make it to the meeting in la grange. There are quite a few people going that are on Facebook so the hotel I have linked gets you about as close to Murphy's as possible. We might not stay there but I have recommended the hotel linked due to it being really close to Murphy's. There is a Comfort sweet that I might also go to which is about 15 minutes out of la grange. I could give you that link for the hotel because we have always have had a great experience with Comfort suites. We will either go to the one linked above or The comfort suites 15 minutes away.

 

Ok. I do want to mention that you could stay an extra night for the hotel and I and possibly a few of the members could go sight seeing in la grange. I will inform you about the comfort suites if you would like. We could meet up there. How does that sound?

I've looked all over and can't find where does it says Murphy's at 4 pm. That one of the reasons I was asking about the plan which should include list, time and place.

Dang laptop It could be 6:30 at the hotel and 7:30 at the Steakhouse. That will give those with a reservation at the hotel time to get everything set.

Just wondering, what head count will you give them on how many will be there? With what I see from Facebook and postings here, I've counted more interest than the list you've posted but not many commitments. How many cars and how many people as some do not drive solo.

 

See I live 2 hrs away I want to attend if my car is out of theshop but won't be needing a hotel room

 

I understood we were going to be at Murphy's around 4PM. I'm driving up from Houston, Cars & Coffee at 7-9am, drive up to some FM twisty roads, ( may drive to Twisted Sisters)then to Murphy's and home to Houston afterward. I don't want to eat at 7 or 8pm then drive home, toooo late.

For those eating at Murphy's on July 6 at 4 pm:

If convenient, we'll meet at 2pm at the Dairy Queen at the SE corner of exit 205 in San Marcos (900 Hwy 80). We'll use Bill's route to Murphy's.

Regardless of your travel plans, we'll plan to eat at Murphy's Steakhouse at 4pm (204 Thomas St, Winchester, Tx)

Ater we eat, we can drive some of the twisties in the area, and some (see crossfireconv08's posts) are spending the night in La Grange for more driving and fellowship the next day.
