Damn, 1950 for the wheels!

I usually try to make sure that the purchase price includes those.

At the time I purchased 11/04, $ 27,494. was with all of the dealer incentive rebates. Two of approx 6-7 other local dealers had simular 04 coupes but diffrent colors priced @ $ 30,000. & $ 30,995. I couldnt find a Graphite coupe anywhere else in the metroplex so I walked right into the finance managers office and plopped my fat *** down in the chair in front of his desk and told him what he had to do if he wanted to sell me that car that Saturday 11/04 afternoon. I showed him a printout from my computer what his factory invoice was. He assessed me $ 200.00 over invoice, gave me the wheels at his cost, and scribbled up a reciept and it was a done deal. Their probably less $$ today, I feel it was a fair sale. I've talked to folks since who paid more, quite a bit...
I wasnt too happy with Mr. goober smooch service manager 20 days later (see thread) such is life.

Hey freddy, How many miles do you have on your X fire ? We may have to compare notes like does your Xfire leak air around the back hatch area ? or does the glass raddle on the hatch. I just say one thing, that cup holder absolutely sucks! It must be made for German cups or something cause styrofoam cups get ripped wide open when you try to delicately slide one in.... Aluminum cans get
crinkled.

I'm in Copperas Cove with my Sapphire Silver Crossfire. Question for you guys and gals, has anyone attempted to change their airfilter? If so, how did you do it? I just got my K&N filters in, but I really havn't had the time to go and take a look at how it can be done....any advice?

Grab the airbox and pull up. It just snaps in place. Then it takes a Torx driver to remove the filter covers from the bottom of the box. I think it's a #15 Torx, but I'm not 100% sure. It's a pretty simple process.

It's supposed to be 81 and sunny on Saturday. Sounds like perfect car washing weather. Mine's definitely going to get a bath then.

jpervents,

Just curious but what did it cost you? I mean it's 5000 miles and an 2004 almost 2 years old.. Seems like the dealers are letting the 04's leave the lot for alot less and they seem to be a better buy when you can pocket 4 or 5 grand vs. an 05' model.
