There are about 8-10 of us in the Dalls/FW area. There is a Facebook group for Texas, it's mostly DFW area people.
Im not longer there, as I moved to north Arkansas last in 2019 because life is too short to live in Dallas.

Hi! I am in Fort Worth. Purchased a blue 05 a few months ago for my daughter. I had no clue that there was such a following for this car and now feel a bit stupid purchasing this car for my 16 year old. lol But she LOVES it. And it was a cheap price so it worked out. It does now have 100K miles and I am looking for somewhere to get it serviced. I am not good enough with cars to do myself unfortunately. Does anyone know where to go to find a mechanic knowledgeable enough with the XF? We also just developed an oil leak, so need to get it fixed pretty quickly. Thanks!

Congratulations, these cars will normally go 200K with ease if maintained. As for as mechanical repairs they are mechanically a 2003 Mercedes SLK320. Do not go to a Chrysler dealer as they know nothing about them. Find an independent repair shop that does European cars, especially Mercedes. They are very safe even if they are sporty.

Valuable info here. Also only use synthetic 0W40 or 5W40 oil And a Mann fleece oil filter. It holds 8 quarts of oil.
