My name is Karl & I have been building sreetrod Pontiac Firebirds my whole life. I have a 73 with a 440 motor with an 8/71 blower on it pushing around 750 Hp. I was on my way to buy the paint for it on Saturday when my 96 Grandprix screwed up on my for the last time. I really needed a new car & I have been looking at the Crossfire for the last 3 to 4 months. I went home Saturday & started looking on the Internet & found a 2005 coupe with a 6 speed about 25 miles away so I went up to test drive it. That was all it took & I was hooked. I got it for 15000.00 & I must say it is one of the nicest cars I have ever drove. I love it & on a 75 mile round trip to work it only went through 1/8th tank of gas handles like a dream & have very good power. Now all I need is a turbo for it & I will be all set. Gm & ford could learn alot for this car. Thanks for letting my tell a little about my self & how i fell in love with this car. Ps I still love the Pontiacs but this car is really nice

Welcome to the forum.
I had a 1970 Pontiac LeMans ,1978 Pontiac Sunbird , 1984 Pontiac Trans Am and a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am GT.
Loved them all but the Crossfire is by far the coolest car out of a total of 22 cars I have owned.
I drive with a smile and love the attention it gets.

Thanks for the welcome. I am not selling any of my Pontiacs in the near future but I do love this new car. Just have to figure out how to make more hp. I never could keep a car stock for very long so I am sure I'll be doing something to it in the future
