Southeast Florida Tune by Jerry AMG/LET Motor Sports
We had a great turnout, a total of 9 SRT Crossfires, as well as 2 E55, a SLK, C32 and a couple other mercedes.
One of the modded E55's hit 533 whp and the SLK was at 489 after the tune. That is scarry fast for a two seater.
Jerry and Wayne and Bo (pictured at table) were fantastic. Eric (pictured sitting) and Jason were non stop with getting the cars on and off the Dyno. We started tuning cars at 8:45 in the morning and ended up leaving after 11 o'clock that night. 2 of the 9 SRT had 181 Pulleys (mine and Ashley's) and had the highest WHP @ 349. Jim, AMX1397, with a SC pulley and heat exchanger was right there with Ashley and myself. The other SC pulley setups were showing 223-330WHP, give or take. JimBoo without any mods dyno'ed at 266 prior to the tune and 292WHP after Jerry worked his magic. Mike (Gator) had a bout of food poisoning and was calling out for Ralph as he patiently waited for his turn on the dyno. We put his S/C pulley on his SRT as he was waiting for the Tune. It was a pleasure seeing some old faces and some new ones. Chuck (thumper), Dave (SRTDave), and Neil (Mini), Mark (Cuban Miami) got there after the photo was taken.
I think that this may be the most SRT in one place at the same time. there were 3 roadsters and 6 coupes. There were 4 black SRT's, 4 graphite and one SSB.

Yes, it was definitely a fantastic time and it was great to finally meet some of you! I was most impressed with David's SRT6 because with only a Needswing Inatke, Code-3 pulley and removed resonator, with the Jerry-Tune, he put down an amazing 354 whp! That's a new record for the Code-3 which beat the old record by 10 HP! My hat's off to David! Again I want to thank everyone involved for a job well done!
Here's my dyno sheet which I am pleased with even though David whooped me! LOL! Neal

Post up your sheets people!

My SRT was on the dyno for just under 3 hours and was the first car. It was actually dyno'ed 22 times. Due to the fact that my SRT had been previously tuned apparently my car had become accustom to that tune for several months and did not want to take a new tune. The ECU was put back to factory specs and then retuned. It was running too lean the whp ranged from a high of 356 to a final of 343. Do understand that after nearly 3 hours that my car was most likely throughly heat soaked.
Ashley's SRT took a grand total of 20 minutes and two dyno runs to complete, as hers had the same mods as mine. Needswing CAI, 181 pulley and LET Tune. Her final whp was 349.
It seems that the resonator delete mod adds quite a bit of whp (354) as does the heat exchanger that AMX Jim has on his SRT as noted in the above post 345 whp. Both with the S/C pulley were able to show a 15-20 whp gain compared to those SRT'S only having the S/C pulley by itself. Both also had CAI's.
Jerry and Wayne will most likey be back in March.
The new mod talk has to do with the transmission. This might be 2/10 of a second gain in the 1/4 mile. Hmmmmm

before the dyno tune, I met up with Jerry after dinner and he flashed my ECU at the hotel.
On part throttle I'm able to flicker the traction light when my previous tune couldn't. And on Saturday
night when I closed my restaurant on towards home, I was able to loose control at around give or
take 80+/- mph.
I just wished I didn't work that day so I could've taken advantage of the dyno tune session.
Hopefully I'm able to take off this Wed to head up to PBIR to test out my C32. I think I'm going to
dyno my C32 tomorrow.
yea Justin we missed dynoing yours i'm sure your numbers would be up there, I can dyno your car any time you are ready, ( we can dyno anycar any time you want just pm me and i can set it up),, in the mean time, we are going to palm beach raceway Wed Jan 21,, (40degrees cold),, can u make it. they open at 4,, start raceing at 5 and close at 10 ,,cost $ 25 to run your car ,, jim

Whats going on guys!
I had a great time and it was great meeting you guys. I will try to make it out to the track on Wed.
FYI: I raced an 07' M3 out on the turnpike and not only did I beat the poor guy, about every two or three seconds I would get ahead of him an entire car length. All the way upto 165, then I would slow down to let him catch up. ( I think he will trade it in now) Needless to say.....IM VERY HAPPY WITH MY TUNE FROM LET!!!
