Atlanta Area
Re: Atlanta Area
RPatton, try posting this in the SRT section as some forum members don't visit the regionals all that often. I know when I was in Atlanta for the dyno tune there were several local members in attendance. I am interested in learning more about road racing the SRT. Let me know when you are going and I may drive down to check it out.

Re: Atlanta Area
Hey Robert, I live in Warner Robins, about an hour and a half south of you. I would love to get together some time. I have done some performance mods for straight line speed, but would be interested in learning about tracking her. Maybe we can put something together for a day at Road Atlanta. I am sure we could get a pretty good turnout. Thanks
Re: Atlanta Area
Road racing...I'll be at Road Atlanta this weekend as the lead instrucor for our group, NASA, as well as racing my BMW 325is with the spece30 crowd.
You can check out the schedule at NASA-se dot com. There may be a $10 admission for non-NASA members??
I'll check to see.
We'll be there Saturday and Sunday.
If you go, just ask for me as they know where to find me via radio.
RP
800-755-1715 if you want some details...I only type 5 words per minute.

Re: Atlanta Area
I am in Buford, about a 30 minute drive from Road Atlanta, and would definitely attend any XF event there. I think the Walter Mitty has a "drive on the track" thing. My step father works at BBS next door and, although their partnership is off for now, he knows the track officials and may have a slight amount of sway. I'm going to do some research....

Metal, you're close by...I live in Cumming. Meet at Frontera on Hwy 20 to exchange tips?
Oops, I don't have any tips yet. (The 3M kit does work well on headlight restoration.)So, you can enlighten me as to where to get the most horsepower for the dollars spent.
Thanks in advance, Robert Patton 770-886-2500

Re: Atlanta Area
I took my camera on a ride recently but there was too much ambient noise, and it was not a good representation. I saw bmorgan and xray's videos of their dyno pulls on youtube and got a little jealous, so I'll have to try again.(if only there were a dyno close to me...)

Re: Atlanta Area
Gaining more experience with the car.
HID 6000 lights installed, seat heater fixed, driver's side seat lowered 3/4" in rear (it's nice to know a good welding guy).Next on the list, install f&r springs, and install new intercooler pump.
Metal or others in Atlanta...organize a meeting/dinner/lunch?
Advise here or call 770-886-2500
