North Alabama CF Club - January
Hey everyone! The December party was lots of fun, and there cannot be a better location, in my opinion.
For January, though, I won't be able to meet due to lot's going on with trying to pack up my house, etc. So, we can take a month off, or you can plan something. (Unless you want to come meet & box my attic up, hahaha!
)
Thanks for the X-Fire bag and hat - you know who you are. Great gifts!! Both have been used lot's!
I hope to see you all in Feb!?!

Well, it is probably a good thing that we stayed in this month due to the cold, snow, ice, etc.
I bumped my bumper 2x this month - once on our basketball goal and another time on a rusty pole - both times due to ice and my car sliding.
Feb. is coming up and I am wondering about making reservations at a meeting place. Any suggestions or requests for a place to meet. We usually meet off I-565 in Madison, AL, just W of Huntsville. But if anyone would rather meet in a town East of there or West of there, please give me suggestions. The drives are always nice to where ever we meet. If you know of a good spot, let me know.
Is the 3rd Sat still OK? Why don't we keep it at this until we talk at the meeting. 12:00 Feb 19. Location to be determined.
Or would the 2nd be better? But think about whether you'd rather meet the 2nd or 3rd weekend. We can talk about it and comments at the Feb meeting
Put in your thoughts, or email me, to let me know you opinion about our meeting and lets get it going!!
Hopefully Feb will be warmer than Jan.

Hi All North Alabama Crossfires.........I think the 3rd Saturday is good! As far as location......Greenbriar BBQ was good! But I'm good with any location! Just say no to snow! I had plenty of that while out of town visiting family in RI...........Blizzard then Nor'easter!
Look forward to seeing more attendance next month.

Let's go with meeting the 3rd Saturday in February, at Greenbriar Bar-B-Q, off I-565 (exits 2 & 3, N side of road just W of Madison), at 12:00 noon.
I hope to see more people then to discuss whatever's on your mind!

The 19th is coming up, so I thought I would breathe some life into this thread. I hope to make this one with no problems, but something could still come up. Anyone else gonna make it?
What a fantastic day. I arrived with a large truck filled with camo wearing Alabamians. Couldn't help but think about the episode of Top Gear when they went through southern Alabama. Really had to be careful I didn't say anything Bubba couldn't understand.
Anyway, had some nice runs with Jason and his copilot. Plus a quick blast through the what I can assume is the only curvy road in Alabama. What a blast, if you're in Georgia or Northern Alabama I definetly suggest finding little river canyon. Just don't stop at the end because the park ranger will politely ask you to slow down
I want to thank Melanie, Jason, and Lisa for an incredible time. I hope to see them again soon.

Thanks Jason for leading us on a great run thru Little River Canyon! I think we need to take out our camo when Nick comes to visit again......lol....Perhaps next time we run the canyon the park ranger will be out having coffee!
It was nice to see everyone again! Til next time..........keep your Crossie tires to the road!
