we have met in the orlando area a few years ago,, maybe we should try to put together a meet,, I visit my daughter in Melbourne and my son in silversprings quite often am planing on a trip to orlando drag strip, maybe in June.

sorry the "we" was referring to the florida group ,, i think we had 25 to 30 members met up also we met in mount dora .once.

ralph289 - I no longer live in the Lake County area but, I'm curious if your XF is the red coupe that was for sale at the Cadillac dealer on 441. I saw it there years ago and then it was gone. I often wondered where it might have gone. I live in Kentucky now and for the last 2 years. I miss the central Florida area. I see from the listing that there is a Florida member in The Villages and one in Astatula. Anyway, I found a red coupe in Indianapolis and bought it. Love these XF's. Wish I had one when I lived there like the red coupe that was at the Cadillac dealer. When I moved to Florida about 15 years ago, I took a 32 Ford streetrod with me. Went to some shows in the Villages but wound up selling it to a couple in Naples. I worried that someone would hit it. It was a best of show car and I didn't want to take the chance. Besides, the man in Naples saw it and made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

No. Mine was a flood recovery car from Gainesville. Bought it in Orlando with reman title for $3500. Have now put $4500 in it to bring it up to snuff. 5 of the 7 top cylinders were leaking and the main top pump was shot.
Head gaskets ,all fluids changed. Drives nice. 72000 miles.

Welcome to all the new ones I see checking in and hello to old friends. Many of you know I sold Ms. WHEEE a little while ago and have missed her since. So, I bought a '05 SSB Limited Roadster with 68k on the clock. She has a few issues which I am sorting out. Looking forward to some get-togethers in the near future!

I might have attended that Mt.Dora/ Tavares gathering. It was some sort of scavenger hunt as I recall which , IMO is a dangerous , distractive way to conduct a ride through the countryside even with a co-pilot to do the "scavenger hunting". My 2cents ...Anyway, Welcome to all new Floridian members. I'm south of Ocala and north of The Villages. ...waiting on a replacement radiator to arrive, should be here today for the black srt6, easy fix...might outta replace hoses while I'm in there..Peace 'yall
