I am in Spartanburg SC. As stated before we have had an up state group (SC, NC, GA) for the past several years but participation has died. We meet for dinner several times, had a nice dyno day, some went on a mountain drive to a winery, and we traveled to the dragon and played on the mountain roads together. Dennis Edwards tried hard to get some more things going like track days at road courses in SC and Ga without much participation.

Having organised the dyno day it can be a lot of work. I think we had 8 crossfires but we opened it up to a mopar club and had a great day with 30 or more cars. So we may have to start small but we need to make a start.

I would love to see things pick up again. i know there are other owners , new and old,that would love to GTG. I hope this thread can be the start of a renewal.

 

Im hoping also if we could start at 4 or 5 and have a gtg that would be great!

 

Im in Goose Creek, SC outside of Charleston, SC. hopefully enough people read this and we can gtg. what days where they usually performed

 

I assume Saturdays would be best for most people

Hi i live in Apex NC always willing to meet up somewhere in a nearby area.I will be at Fontana in 3 weeks.
Also for anyone in NC there is a monthly general sports car meeting on the first Saturday of every month in the parking lot at the rear of Whole Foods on Kildaire Farm Road Cary from 8am to midday. There are usually about 200 sports cars or various makes. I am always the only Crossfire there it would be good to see more. Will miss April due to Fontana meeting. But i will be there every month after.

Shawn, Dennis was instramental in putting the original list together and posting ideas for GTG's. Maybe he can share that list with you and we can see who is still around and who is interested in starting GTG"S again. Lets put our heads together and see if we can get the ball rolling again. Little Switzerland and the Diamondback road run would be a great start.

well i guess that would be me haha but we havent set anything yet although i would like to! the problem is finding a place to meet that is convenient for every one and that there would be some things to do maybe some of the other guys could chime in and suggest something???
