What kind of kit are you looking for?
You/we already have a 'CAI' - with some restrictions though.
I'm assuming you already have K&N's.

The general consensus is that the factory intake system is very effective, quite possibly more so than most of the available aftermarket.

With the factory system you possibly get some minor 'ram-air' effect.
If you remove the flexible pipe you may allow more air flow, but that will offset the ram-air.

I Have The Same, Works Ok But I Have A Custom Design I Am Exploring. If It Works The Way I Hope Then I Will Post Picks Of Finished Product. I Bet It Will Be The Next Craze For The X. It Will Take Some Modding Under The Hood And Front End But Will Be True Cold Air. Well Outdoor Temps. No Under Hood Temps. Don't Have A Time Frame Yet Just Thought And Planned It Out 2 Days Ago Still Need To Get Parts And Materials.

our induction is nice, but the air box is way to small. i think the ones from the 5.0 liter v8 mercedes fit.

The Air Box Will Need To Be Modded A Little And Will Only Act As A Cover In My Design.

I advise you to stick with the stock setup. It's the best I have seen so far.

nope, the other air boxes will add power. trust me... our exhaust is very restrictive, mostly due to the airbox. there was 6 horsepower unleashed when we ran my car on the dyno without the airbox.
