I wouldn't sweat it- I think the shape of the base seats is nicer- I like the independent headrests. Your seats look nice- How was working with that company? I like the roll bars too- what kind are they?

I worked with a local NJ Katzkin installer and they were fantastic. I checked out the shop ahead of time and it was spotless. The shop has been in the family for over 50 years, so I was confident they would do nice work. The leather came out beautiful.
The bars I did myself. I bought pre-bent tubes and slightly modified them, then made brackets and painted them. I have a brother who owns a sheet metal shop that comes in handy for alot of modifications.

I paid $1,095 plus tax, although I do not know if the price would be the same everywhere. I thought it was a fair price considering how well they came out. I had them install Dark Graphite (perforated Combo) which matched the rest of the interior great. The company is a factory authorized Katzkin installer and is called Purich Inc. in Bogota, NJ. I dealt with Paul.
They had several brand new cars there from local dealerships still with the window sticker affixed (no xfires) and were doing landau roofs, sunroofs and interiors. The shop was spotless.

I don't get it, you have your regular seats recovered with headrests? Or those seats are out of a mercedes? Details please as this is a mod I have to do.

Hold on, do you have a cabrio or hardtop? You have roll bars in a coupe?

Yes, my seats are the factory base ones, ...and it is a coupe. I liked the separate headrest but wanted the look and touch of leather. One of the reasons I bought a base was because I did not care for the painted windshield frame/door handles etc and liked the base seats better too. Plus, with the money I saved, i figured I could use that to customize it. It is not a daily driver (have had it for 8 months, have 700 miles).
As far as the bars go, I know it is a coupe, and the bars really mean nothing safety wise, but I like the look and that's all that matters to me. I bought mandrel bent u-bend- mild steel 1 7/8" with a radius of 6". Cut them to fit and made aluminum mounting brackets (my brother owns a sheet metal shop) that mount from inside the tube for a clean mount. Then painted them to match the interior. No real protection, but everyone who has seen them thinks they look great.
