I think I've found it but not sure, does it look like a flat head screw in plug??

Got pix?

if you've got this much trouble finding the plug, you're going to have one heck of a time installing the gauge... is it a mechanical gauge or electric?

Look I've never worked on a MB engine before, I know SBC and BBC like the back of my hand. You gonna help me or just criticize me like a ***** hiding behind his computer?
I haven't had a chance to purchase the shop manuals so I don't know where anything is.

I will be using an electrical pressure gauge, mechanical gauge inside the car is too risky with all the nice leather.

c'mon relax -- it was more a joke than anything else --

i like electrical gauges because they're easy, but mechanical gauges give more range of motion on the needle so i feel like i'm getting more information out of them.

good luck --
