Okay, so here's how I'll do this... as soon as I get the price quote for 30 from Mr. Boulekos.

I'll post the price per unit and then add in 8%.

I will then start contacting everyone to get info and arrange payment to me. I will then keep a running spreadsheet of names, addresses, phone numbers/e-mails, and if payment was received or not.

If no payment was received from a participant... it will not stop the purchase, but I will hold those units until I receive payment as I can't possibly front over $7,000 out of my own pocket.

If anyone is going to back out I will probably just hold their units and resell them myself (for the 10 quantity price break... but not the one offered here).

I will then arrange the wire transfer and await shipment, which will promptly be repackaged and shipped (probably UPS ground or FedEx ground) to everyone along with any refund I have left from duties/import fees.

If anyone has concerns about any part of this arrangement... PLEASE feel free to voice it here and I will address it.

Timelord, thanks so much for doing this. I don't think you really know how much work it is going to be. But I know I really appreciate it and I am sure everyone else also. Just be careful. You are going to have people that said they wanted it and when it comes to sending the money they will back out. I have seen it before. Let me know if you need any help with this. And again, thanks.

Guys, I think PaulW will confirm this with you but the money must be transferred to them before they ship the sprint boosters. You should be entirely safe to collect all the money prior to ordering and then you don't have to worry about non-payment issues. Just set the deadline to have the money paid, place the order for what you have, and it's a done deal. It worked great for our group order.

I'm glad to see the kind of response you are getting. It was a little more difficult for us to get the ball rolling. As you know, I sold mine to acrispy1 because it was just too aggressive for me and the kind of driving that I do. But what a GREAT product, that does works as advertised. No one will regret the purchase.

I have the auto version in a automatic. I have one other comment I'd like to add. I only use this car for pleasure. It is very aggressive when you hit the gas and great fun to run around town with. Some of you my want to ask the folks that drive them day to day if they like them for everyday driving.

 

Once we've got the device in, I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to wire in a bypass switch...just musing.

 

Timelord, thanks for all the work putting this together. I have some experience with wholesale, and with a product like this, at this quantity you should be getting a significant discount way more than $10 - $20, so when you negotiate, keep this in mind. Asking for under $200 USD is not unreasonable.

Also, I would like the current automatic version.

I use my Crossfire on a more daily basis (only in summertime)... and you will eventually get the hang of it. It is like driving a whole new car and after your done laying your foot down it's just great for city driving were there is a lot of stop and go... that's where the sprint booster really shines.

I just wanna know how it will do in the CL600... that's going to be crazy fast!!

Well if it performs as good as you all say, it would be a great modification. Especially for the 6 speed guys who do a lot of toe - heel shifting, 'cause in stock form you really need to plan your downshifts around corners much sooner than with cable linkage throttle. Where it's immediately easy to get a quick rev between shifts.

I figure it this way if we have all the payments but... say... 3 or 4, I'm just going to place the order. Any more than that and I may drop some people from the order. I have a feeling I could resell these things pretty easy on the forum if I had to, but I'd rather not have to go through that.

I will start contacting everyone today. If others want to get in on it while the money is being collected, they will have to get their payment in before the end of next week (September 8th) as that will be my payment deadline.

Mr Boulekos has replied with the following about the quantity 30 discount...
So it looks like we've reached the limit with 20. So, here's the breakdown...

30 Sprint Boosters for 5,720.00 Euros is (as of today) $7,342.75 Total or ($244.76 each).

I am adding the suggested 8% which makes the price $264.34 + Shipping (via UPS Ground).
If anyone wants faster shipping, they need to arrange it with me ahead of time.
