what a ignorant tool! if i buy a bunch of them and start selling them from usa, does that make them authentic? how can you be sure that they will replace it if there is a problem? do i get my money back from you if there is a problem? who the hell are you!!??!! the almighty grand master white dragon from the alabama chapter of KKK?
i'm not doubting their customer service but your pathetic comments regarding "those guys" make me sick.

Default Sprint Booster - Incivility...

It's not clear to me why it is necessary for v12 Mercedes to be acting like a dummkopf on our Crossfire forum by attacking dynamicS !

The latter member of our forum has a valid point to make. Our group now has a couple of months of working with the Greek manufacturer on this project. Boukelos Dynamic does stand behind their product and they have already replaced at least one SB that was not working properly. No such record exists (yet) for buying from Singapore via Ebay... Caveat emptor!

Extrapolating dynamicS's comments to mean that he is "a ignorant tool" (sic) and that he is a member of the KKK (!?!) is a bit of a reach... It is apparent that having a V-12 - as opposed to a V-6 - confers no special skills in interpersonal relationships, grammar, or history!

Life is too short for such idiocy!

Update: Since my first posting on 7/11 re: the SprintBooster, mine has continued to function flawlessly! I am pleased that others have been able to enjoy the benefits of this little mod! Party on!

I am located in Dallas, TX just in case anyone is curious.

Send him his money back and don't worry about it. The perfect way to punish a brat is make them do without. I really don't see where we need him, his opinions, or his money. Pretty arrogant for someone looking for a deal! My .02.

Alright, stop the snippy stuff... LOL

rdotson began this thread a few months back and I laughed at the concept of the device because of the effective reset mode in the OEM computer. Then the thread began to get more responses from forum members and the "Snake Oil" image began to make me laugh more with the claims of more rapid throttle response than the OEM computer reset.

Then TimeLord jumped on the band wagon with a group buy...

That's when I decided to test this claim and put it to rest or verify it... If anyone can judge throttle response on the NA Crossfire, it's me... So, I decided to jump-in on this group buy and do what I do best... Test, Debunk, or Verify.

So, as long as I receive the product purchased, I'm pretty confident that I can give an unbiased opinion on its effectiveness. If this is a scam, I'm relentless in my pursuit of revenge and retribution... LOL

Hopefully the delivery will be before my next track event which will be Oct 14-15 at Buttonwillow Raceway otherwise I will not be able to test it until after the first of the year.

Consider this a $300 donation to the members of this forum and another testing procedure on the car/members... Remember SASKINS ? His prototype CAI works beautifully on my car, but he was unable to provide a retail product...

I'm confused, but very intuitive. MMZ TimeLord is the same person as Yellowrama and one icon is different from the other. Yellowrama lists his location as Orange County CA, yet MMZ TimeLord lists his residence as San Mateo, CA. nearly 500 miles away from each other. Stop the presses... I want clarification... My nose is starting to twitch... and that photo of the MB looks vaguely familiar...

Huh? I don't get why it is so confusing. I am just reposting what TimeLord wrote, because this thread is so long that it takes forever to read (great...I just made it even longer thanks to the confusion), so I am just making it easy for people who just got on the bandwagon.

Oh, and the photo looks familiar? maybe you saw it in MBWorld.org.

dude, read my post again!! did i say boukelos will not stand behind his product? and did i say we should buy from the guy from singapore? i appreciate timelord's afford of putting this group buy and i trust him and this forum enough to send money via paypal already. being "an" asian american myself, i can't stand dynamicS's prejudiced comments against "those people" from singapore. you, my friend, obviously have plenty of special skills in interpersonal relationships, grammar, and history and i thank you for the quote "life is too short for such idiocy!" very appropriate in this situation. have a nice life, Napoleon.

I received a phone call from HDDP due to the 'confusion'... I missed the first two as I was using a high speed grinder to smooth over some welding on a front crossmember of the Minor Problem I'm working on. (fresh pictures later tonight... WHEE!)

Anyhoo... it was great to talk with you HDDP!

Here is the current buyer list with payment status. (Private information not shown)

Thanks again for all who are participating.

P.S. - I don't believe dynamicS was trying to be racist, simply factual. It does seem that knockoffs from several asian countries flood the market shortly after a popular product is out. He was simply stating there was no way to verify the origin, short of getting one with no warranty. I think our members here overall have a good sensibility and should be able to debate without resorting to name calling. V12, next time, try explaining the offensive nature of the error and leave the name calling for the school yard. (No, I will not return your money to 'punish' you, that is not my way.)

Here's a question, lets say if you have an auto tranny xf, just wanting to make a simple passing maneuver. If you prod the accelerator a bit (like you would in any car), will the sprintbooster speed up an action like this?

New here to this forum.

I am glad crossfire owners are aware of this booster i have it on both my SLKs (320 & 350) and will be installing it on the crossfire.

Opening the hood of the crossfire i am always at home but at less than half its price. great car.

There is a huge difference in the acceleration responses when this thing is installed. NO lagging, which is typical of the mercedes engines we have.

No I'm not an ignorant tool nor a racist, you trigger happy fool! I just go by personal experience that most parts from Asian countries are fake! Everyone knows this.
I used to sell authentic TOM'S racing parts for Toyota vehicles, all imported from Japan, what a pain in the *** that was. Then 2 years later I see Tom's parts all over Ebay. Turns out they are cheap Asian knock offs being sold under the Japanese label for 1/3 price.

As for getting a replacement part that is faulty, I did read a post here where just this very thing happened with a customer of Sprint Booster, and they replaced it I believe. I haven't heard anything bad so far.

Who the hell am I? My name is Justin, and you can eat my shorts! You friggin putts!

Yes, it makes passing maneuvers even less strenuous. However it's more noticeable at lower speeds like when starting from a stand still.

After reading over 26 pages of information, questions, testimonials, praises and some general banter, it seems rather sad that this subject would conclude with such juvenile, off-color remarks by v12mercedes over an innocent statement by Dynamics. Truth is often times unpleasant, otherwise it wouldn't hurt.
