well, I do fit fine in the car. but any extra inch of room you can get feels like you gained a foot which is great. this makes the car more pleasing to drive, especially since it's my daily driver and those long drives out to Vegas or up in northern Cali. it really cuts down on pit stops and stiff muscles.

hopefully next weekend I can get to removing the knee bolster.

If I set the seat EXACTLY right, I can get "comfortable". I have to have my hair cut just right to clear the headliner. I have had much smaller cars in the past (Triumph GT6, Datsun 280Z, Honda CRX) which were substantially more accommodating. If I can modify the back to recline more, while leaving the bottom in its rear-most position, the driving position will be perfect for me, and I'll be able to have a comfortable range of adjustments to change to on long trips.

Also, all three of the above-mentioned cars had accessible space behind the seats which made them much more versatile and useful both around town and on the road.

My objective is to address both these minor annoyances, thereby achieving Auto-Nirvana!! Wish me luck...
