Default Looking for a flywheel

Can anyone tell me if they had any luck finding an aftermarket performance flywheel for the crossfire?

I can tell you that I've had no luck finding one, unfortunately.

Maybe you can try doing a search for the 6 speed trans in other cars, Who makes our trans, is it a Getrag 6 speed?

Perhaps I should have said, the closest I got was having spec clutch agree to make one. I have not had them do it yet... I'm building a full 112 engine from scratch and have quite a few things that will be modded, including the flywheel.

Hey sounds like a candidate for a full documentation thread. I would love to see pictures and follow along on your build.

By the time it's (I have the extra money to complete it, next summer) you probably won't have your Crossfire any longer since it seems you're so dissatisfied with it... I already have the short block which was ported / polished by Extrude Hone. Everything else is waiting on $$$.

Well it may be some time before I find a replacement, I'm not entirely finished with the XF, just tired of DC and their hack mechanics.

What else are you planning for the short block build? I'm curious as to what the cfm flow was before and after your extrude porting, I know it'd a very expensive process any reason why you choose to go that route instead of CNC porting??

I bought a used short block from Metric Motors in Woodland Hills and had it ported / polished at the Long Beach facility of Extrude Hone. The process is very pricey $1,900 for the block, intake manifold & exhaust manifold.

I'll fill you in a bit more as the rest of the build progresses...

OK I look forward to hearing updates. Did you port the heads too? I would get them flow tested first before modifying and spending anymore money on them.
