Aluminum Dash Kit?
Has anyone actually installed any of those interior dash kit mods like the ones found on e-bay? If you have what were your comments on the installation and over appearance?
Someone did a wood dash a while back. All-in-all, it didn't look too bad, but the problem is that it doesn't look like a custom install. It looks like it was stuck on.

You can do a search for "Dash Kits" to get more information on the topic. To give you an idea, here are some pics taken
from this forum of some stick on kits at the bottom of this post.
I don't care for any of them, especially the cedar interior. I agree with bobs, but there are more expensive kits out there
that look more like OEM quality dashes. Some companies will swap out individual panels giving a more OEM look for more $$$.
Here are two sites that have been posted elsewhere on this forum...

You paid a dealer to install a stick on dash kit? They are not hard to install... what did they charge you? Dealer rates are
not cheap.

I couldn't tell you what that specific application cost because I had several other things done at the same time. It may have been easy to do, but I wanted it perfect and made it clear when I brought it in. I was paranoid about making sure everything was even all the way around. Once it's stuck, it's stuck.
Anyway, I had various other parts and accessories painted and installed. Overall, the total cost was approximately $250. Actually, I thought it was very reasonable.
