srt-6, where is the supercharger?
i'm new in these site sorry... here are my questions...
1. the crossfire (stock) and the x-fire srt-6 has the same size of motor (yes i know one is supercharger and the other isn't)? (3.2 l)
2. well if they have the same motor... were is the supercharger...
3. and can i put the supercharger of a srt-6 to my stock x-fire...
another thing i just saw a offer on ebay motors that they are selling a srt.6 motor, the price starting price was $2,500 i think ... can i put that motor to my stock x-fire?

Custom Body Kits.
START A GROUP BUY FOR A CUSTOM BODY KIT
WE CAN MAKE ANY STYLE KIT FOR ANY CAR...
That's right, we make custom body kit(s) for any car, and any style you choose, we are a body kit and spoiler manufacturer. Your shop, or you can start a group buy on any message boards/groups, and the original starter who organizes the group buy, and decides on a style body kit, it could be any style, will get a really really good deal on their kit for their car.
Info on the custom kit:
Each group buy has to be the same style kit, and the same years.
All we need is 10 pre-orders of the same custom kit you choose $675 x 10 people with the same car, and want the same design kit (that is a complete kit!) add shipping is paid upon delivery FREIGHT COLLECT. (you don't pay for shipping upfront, you pay for shipping when your kit arrives) we would need to ship to a business address (any business address will do, like your work, or a body shop).
After we get the pre-orders, we would need a sponsor car to prototype the kit on in CALIFORNIA, of course the sponsor car will get a FREE Kit, but first we would need the pre-orders and the group buy organized and pre-paid before hand. (please do not email us for sponsorships for this).
After the group buy is complete, allow 5-7 weeks for us to make the kit, and we can ship the kits our after. We do not make custom kits for one car. We only make custom kits for group buys of 10 orders minimum. Email us for inquiries regarding group buys for a custom design bodykit).
CUSTOM KIT FOR YOUR VERY OWN SHOP/STORE:
If your shop/store wants to make a custom kit for a car. The process works the same way as a group buy. We would need 10 pre-paid orders for a custom kit, and after, you can resell the kit, and after the 10 orders, we can give you a shop/store discount.
If someone is interested please contact me...

2. Supercharger is under the engine cover. The part that has the Chrysler logo on it - pull up on it, it will release and you will then see the SC and it will be stamped with 'AMG.'
3. Not sure. Some of the internals of the SRT6 engine are different from regular Crossfires.
Hope that helps.
Unless you can get the ECU from the SRT6 along with the engine and trans, you will probably flop with your attempt to swap them out. The ECU on the SRT6 is looking for the auto trans and I'm not sure how easy it would be to trick it into believing it's still there with a manual gearbox.
Also, the internals of the SRT6 engine are a LOT different. Lower compression pistons, and other primary engine parts. The Super Charger takes the place of the regular intake on the regular 3.2L engine. The ECU also controls when the Super Charger is working by way of an electric clutch on it's pulley. Just slapping on the Super Charger and Intercooler and a fixed pulley may work, but you may blow your head gaskets or worse running with higher compression.

how are you going to slap on the 230 supercharger ? its from a i4 going onto a v6 .... will need a custom intake manifold that lines up the belts perfectly ... only thing you'll be slapping is yourself ...
and yes the two motors are the same basically other than the pistons and rods being much different ... lower compression higher strength on the srt-6 ... there are small differences like this throughout but the blocks are the same and the head bolt patterns are the same so you can mate a srt-6 supercharger to the basic 3.2 but you will need the pulley assemblies among other things making it a very expensive and not worthwhile project .... if you have the money and none of the knowledge go have STS make u a turbo system, they specialize in remote mount systems.
supercharging the basic 3.2 would require one hell of a intercooler to make sure the combustion temps stay cool enough to keep things in one piece or a different compressor pulley to lower the pressure it outputs.
one way or another ... there is no one that has come across these boards that has the two components to make this work ... money and knowledge ... those that know, do not have the money or desire to do this ... those that do not know only have the money ...

yes oil galleys and coolant galleys as well as other minor engineering changes that will not affect the project for low boost applications ... its still alot easier just to adapt the srt-6 supercharger as the bolt pattern matches and have a different pulley made ... why make a custom mount to band-aid a tiny c230/slk230 supercharger on this engine ?
AMGLover, i know you usually have a constructive addition to the post, but this time is not one of them ... other than trying to prove me wrong on something that has no right or wrong answer ... MY OPINION is still this is not the best way to go about it ... too much fabrication for too little gain and a supercharger that does not "slap" on as you said.
i'll leave it at that ... i honestly find the constant discussion of this rather dumb as none of the participants have offered anything other than enough hot air to fill a blimp (including my own i admit).

My technical issue of adding the SRT-6 SC is that it would fry a base M112. Once you get the sc on you will want to go fast and that will not be good.
Yeah lots of talk about Turbo's etc... I, like you wish someone would do it.

Sorry for the thread resurrection but I was just looking into doing this.
Mercedes Benz SLK 32 AMG 3.2 Supercharger Crossfire Too:eBay Motors (item 330351306183 end time Aug-17-09 08:41:24 PDT)
800 bucks to get that much more power would totally be worth it!
This thread says nay though.
