Ok so i'm know for taking everything out and usually something does not go back in... but this time it was not my fault... the cup holder would not come up unless i used my tool to pop it open and even then it would not stay up... ok ok so the spring flew out of my window... after a few minutes i found it but i can't put it back on well i can but not that it works like normal any advise?

 

And what precision 'tool' did you use to initially open the cup holder?

 

excuse me but i only use the BEST! ohh yea the SOG powerLock!... and a knife...

 

My *$^)#@! cup holder broke a couple of months ago. I put up with it for a while, using a small piece of paper to use as a wedge to keep it closed. Finally got tired of that BS and bought a new cupholder. I thought it would be a piece a cake to replace. WRONG!! What a pain in the A$$!! Nothing like dismantling the whole frigging car to change out a $90 cup holder... It was worth it. My wife left me alone all day long, and I could drink all the beer I wanted!!

i gave up on it but on the bright side of it i does not pop open anymore so i think im just going to save the spring.
