Default Light Outage Indicator!!

We just bought a '05 SRT on Tuesday, and on Thursday when ever you apply the brakes the 'Light Outage Indicator' light comes on. The service manual says if it comes on while applying the brakes a bulb has failed and the indicator will remain on until the engine is turned off.
My indicator light goes off as soon as you release the brake pedal?? I checked both brake bulbs and they have not failed but work fine?
Any ideals or suggestions before I head back to the dealer?

Did you check the 3rd brake light over the trunk.

Yes...check the 3rd brake light, if it is out it's a dealer fix maybe under warranty since you just purchased the car. It is not an easy DIY task.

Hey:
Never thought of that one, being under the wing, I'll run out and check it now.

That was it, the light under the wing was not working.
Headed back to the dealer Monday since we've only had the car for a week and a half, they will take care of the problem.
