yeah, they are very heavy! I think the fronts are about 45 lbs, and the rears are almost 50 something pounds! It sucks power that's for sure.
I think if you take 10 lbs of Rot. weight off it's like adding 1 hp or maybe its the other way around, 1 lbs = 10 hp. I don't feel like doing physics problems now, maybe tomorrow I'll figure out how many watts it saves. either way a good forged wheel can shave 18-20% off your cars' unsprung weight which is great for the suspention and making hp...

I'm thinking that 25 and 29 per wheel (front rear) sounds wiser than 45 and 50 ?? I'll go with that for now. thanks.

I weighed the tire and rim not just the rim alone.

the rears on the srt6 is like 48 lbs.

29 lbs rim + 15 lbs tire + add 2-3 lbs. of air and = 46-48 lbs sounds about right to me, check my math. lol. I wonder how much the tire pressure sensor weighs?

Sorry MAX the original post said wheels... I thought you were saying those weighed 45-50 lbs... My ace wheels are 19.5 lbs... 21 lbs respectively...

Here is an interesting point: every pound of rolling weight you take off equalls two pounds of dead weight. Interesting, eh?
