Default I think we fixed the biggest complaint about our Cold Air Intake...

Hello,

I know when we originally produced our intake there were a lot of individuals that wanted to use the stock cover to keep the wires and such out of view. Well, that's impossible to keep with any type of improved induction, but I think we have the next best thing.

Keep in mind that my photoshop skills are horrible, so the text and Chrysler logo clearly don't look like they go there, but you'll get the idea. We are looking to replace the logo with something more custom, but aren't sure of what yet.

This will most likely be done in CF (price pending) and offered as a bonus to our Cold Air Intake. Enjoy! And please give us as much feedback as possible.

Thank you,
Anthony

That is the cover, but it doesn't fit quite that easily.

On the front the lip cuts into the radiator hose and needs to be reshaped and on the back the bar covers where our MAF is, that area also needs to be reshaped.

I use a parts guy for a lot of my used parts and could probably source a ton of these covers.

You are right though, CF is expensive, we're working with a company in CA for other CF body pieces, so it might be cheaper given our order size.

I may just offer both options, a repainted one and a CF one. Of course the original MB one can be offered as well, modified to fit of course.

Thanks,
Anthony

I guess you can just cover the ML320 cover with carbon fiber film, otherwise just repaint the ml in crossfire silver.

Anychance you guys will offer braided brake lines since the OEM lines are super mushy....

Maxwell,

We will invest in whatever the community wants. We'll look into the braided lines as soon as we can. We have about 5 projects in the works right now, so if we take on too much at once, its never going to get done.

Stay tuned for tuning, chassis braces, and Carbon Fiber body pieces, along with our soon to be ready exhaust...

Thank you,
Anthony

Anything wrong with the current Gooridge braided lines ? I've been using them for 2 years on the track...

I was just thinking of products for TVT to carry. I looked into the Goodridge but my local dealer shop is trying to gouge me for $200 for r170 chassis lines. I could easily make them myself with Earls fittings for $85, which is what I plan on doing once I get my pressure bleeder.

TVTdesigns, I hope you guys don't get too stretched out there, we still need to complete the Sprint Booster group buy. One step at a time guys.

Then you can buy the lines at JEGS and most of the connections... Just need a swedge tool to make the crimps... I just did that with the fuel line... makes it pretty, not really necessary...

As far as you local dealer charging $200 for Goodridge brake lines, that ludicrous... I think mine were $75... http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/
