Heater fan problem. Please help.

Heater fan problem. Please help.
Hi can anyone help me. All my controls in the interior heater control have stopped working. The hot cold air con and speed fan won't work.
I have removed the lower fan under glove box and connected to a 12v supply and this works fine. I have tried testing the resistor that is attached to this but not sure if I am checking properly but this seems not to be working. Please can someone give me a little guidance.

Also the rad fans seem to come in very early when started car and seem to be on for quite a while. The temp never over heats and engine runs fine but is this connected to the interior fans not working in any way?
