where to mount nozzle for nitrous kit into throttle body
hello, trying to get through to anyone who knows, where do i want to mount my nozzle to spray nitrous into throttle body after maf sensor and before throttle body but where, because of the ninety degree anle going to the throttle body i am worried about puddlind, anyone install please help or pics would be great.
im pretty sure it doesnt matter because of the fogger nozzle?? but if your worried about the 90 bend why dont you place it past the bend right before the throttle body. the kit does say anywhere between 6in of the throttle body right??
yeah 6 to 18 inches away but if i were to put it after the bend it would only be like three inches away from throttle body, ill have to see if i could put it right after maf sensor before the bend somehow
you could make a plate that fits between the manifold and heads, run your NO2 and fuel lines under the manifold. this way you can retain the sleeper status.
it's easy to do, just get a new set of gaskets and trace them out onto some 1/2" or 3/4" phenolic plates. fun project
this will also insulate the heat from the heads and manifolds, I know some shop already makes phenolic spacers for this motor, but I forget thier name, maybe you can contact them for a thicker set, just drill em out to fit your fogger nozzle

thanks for the input, could be done,. seems like quite the project compared to fitting it in before throttle body and only drilling a hole but ill take it into consideration after i decide if theres a good spot before the ninety degree elbow before throttle body.
If you put one here (red arrow in pic) I don't think you'd have to worry about puddling, any liquid would be be evaporated by the intercooler.

in fact, you could just take a new set of gaskets to a machinist and have him CNC a plate from alluminum. might cost you about $300 but you won't have to work very hard
