hey guys looking for a little dialogue on how to install needwings intake, if anyone has anything helpful besides the video included please post, thanks.

 

read less about it ... do more ... it literally took less than a hour to install and most of that time was spent aligning it so it did not scratch on the firewall plastic and coil.

just go for it tyler ... you'll surprise yourself

 

really man, cause watching the video it doen't really tell much about taking all the stock stuff off, and i see little support things here for the new one, i plan on going out in an hour so i will wing it, but any more help before will help i guess. just things like where does that hose go thats on the new intake, and do things need to be moved like on the srt-6? the mass air flow comes off and everything right to the throttle body? or does the new bolt to an old elbow off the throttle body? confusing? sorry just curious,

 

Believe me........if you just go out there and get the stock parts off it'll become very obvious where the new stuff goes.

It's not rocket science...........it's an intake tube!

 

yeah im sure it will fall into place, i just popped the dvd in and jut saw lotts of pics and didn't say anything, i think it is easier to read step by step insutructions, but like i said it will work and i will start on it very shortly so hope all goes well.

 

i printed off the pdf document ... the throttle body has 2 clips bottom and top..

the factory breather hose comes off pull stright out

 

all set really self explanatory if you just go at it.

i have been uninstalling things in prep for the new intake
took the 2 factory intake hoses out that connect to the airbox,
removed the hose holder, that came out easy.....

i can hear the (whine SC) a little more now with the no hose to the airboxes ....
i could only think what the needswing will sound like and feel like..

good improvement in power id say, it chirps third pretty good with the stock tires on, with my 20's on the back it will chirp second pretty good which it wouldn't before the intake, my 20's are big and heavy but look ballin., lol, i just gotta get my spray finished now that the new intake came, i will make a vid tomorrow if its nice, if not next nice day.
