Has anyone had a problem being unable to remove their ignition key. Recently I purchased a spare from a dealer cut to my VIN - programmed it as per instructions in this forum. Used it twice and now I cannot remove it from the ignition - any easy solutions.

 

Not that I've heard. BUT if it were MY decision, it would be back at the dealer (who made the key) to be removed. This might be a harbinger of deeper troubles inside the lock itself-which HAS been an issue for many.

And if they break it-they have to fix it. There will always be the argument of wheather their key caused the damage.

Is is an auto' ?
Make sure its in Park, otherwise key will not come out.
