Magnetic Oil Change Plug
Hey everyone...
I've got a quick question...I'm about to change my oil and while I've got the plug out, I'd like to swap in a magnetic oil drain plug. I used to work at a place changing oil and some models (esp. GM) came factory with magnetic plugs...I don't think the Crossfire is like that. I'd match up the plug and thread count at the auto parts store...but I kinda need my car to get there. Haha. If anyone knows the specs, or of an aftermarket supplier of magnetic drain plugs for the Crossfire...let me know.
Thanks!!

Thanks danimal!! I found the plug I needed.
I went to the auto parts store last night and had the tech get a plug for me. Since I haven't gotten down to actually look at the plug, I gave the specs that were posted on the thread you gave me. He brought me back a plug. I figured it was the right one...until I looked at it after I got home. He ended up giving me a M12-1.75 so I had to run back up there today to get the correct plug -- the M14-1.50. I found the specs for the plug imprinted on the top of it...I guess it was in the wrong bin or something. I'm glad I looked before I started the oil change and then had to find a ride back up to the store...that would have sucked!! Thanks for your help!!! I really appreciate it.
