Yet another P0410...
I know you may get sick of repeated issues, but here goes. Check engine light has been on and off for a few months now with the P0410 code. Since reading everything about it in the forums I have been paying close attention to it. The pump always seems to kick on when starting cold, and I hear it shut off after about a minute. Sometimes the light comes on right when you start it (after being off), but a couple of times the light will be off, and as I'm driving down the road and let off the gas it will pop on. I pulled the blue air valve that some have mentioned and i could blow through it from one side and not the other, seems to be ok. I have not looked at the relays yet, but i will. I'm just wondering what I should do to really troubleshoot since it does seem to be operating properly? All thoughts and opinions appreciated! Would also love to know what resistor was used and where to bypass the pump in order to troubleshoot that way too.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Another note...
I called a dealership and had them look up my vin. Apparently my emissions warrantee is up. 04 with 60k. So I'm not wasting hundreds for them to try and figure it out.

Below is a link to the federal government's emissions warranty rules. Major emission components ( cat converter, ECU, and ODB) are warranted for 8 yrs / 80k miles. Other components aren't covered as long.

I would check the link to make sure that your dealer isn't trying to weasle out of anything.

Woody- I do not understand your question above! Are you asking what the problem is? Nothing, the car runs perfect, it's just the annoying check engine light continually.
