service counter indicator
I just reset mine about 3 weeks ago, but for the life of me I can't remember each step in detail, and it must be in detail or it won't reset. The reset process is in the service manual that is available on the board. Just do a search on the manual. You might even try searching on the forum for service reset.
If you don't get an answer soon, I'll dig it out and post it in a few days.

Okay. Owners manual, page 105.
The counter can also be reset by any individual after the indicated service has been performed. To do so:
1. Turn key to the ON/RUN position.
2. Within one second press the ****/button twice.(the one on the left)
3. The present status for days or distance is displayed. Within 10 seconds turn the key to OFF/LOCK.
4. Press and hold the ****/button, while turning the to ON/RUN again. The present status for days or distance isdisplayed once more. Continure to hold the ****/button. After approximately 10 seconds, a signal sounds and the display shows 7.000 miles (Canada:11,000 km) for approximately 10 seconds.
5. Release the ****/button.
You may have to try this a couple of times to get it right. I did!
