My check engine light has been on and off for the past week (damn cruise control stalk is in the way, can't even see the bloody thing..). just got a free OBD check from Advance Autoparts, and it's the dreaded P0410.

Now, I'm getting a lot of mixed signals. Is it, or is it not covered under emissions warranty?

Is there any harm in running the car in the state that its in? secondary air valve system malfunction doesn't worry me too much, since I believe all it effects is the catalytic converters. (I pulled my cats, kept the pre-cats to pass emisssions on a cold Texas day). Does it affect anything else?
