Default Spark Plug Gap

The Owners manual that came with my '04 Crossfire NA Coupe states that the spark plug gap should be, .040" (.80mm)

That's wrong as .80mm is really .0315". Thats no big deal unless you have a metric spark plug gage in you hand and do not know the difference.

This would be for the stock spark plug. Maybe it has been corrected in later printings.

The workshop manual says .040 (1.00mm)

It is always good to check whenever conversions have been made as not everyone gets the correct answer.

To convert millimeters to inches divide by 25.4

and of course

To convert inches to millimeters multiply by 25.4

These give exact answers.
