Default sporadic hesitation at stop/start

For the past three months I have been tracking a problem and can't seem to find any consistencies, weather/temp, etc. The car seems to run fine, accelerate okay, but when I stop sometimes it acts like it is going to die but doesn't and then takes off. Finally, just made and apt for service next week. Since I am a woman, not much knowledge of cars, let alone a complicated car like my 05 roadster, can I get a few suggestions to sound more creditable when I go in with it? Please!

Is this the correct forum to post this one? I am new to all of this!! But love this car!!!

Ask them to check the MAF sensor.
These sensors are known for getting dirty & when they do your car will intermittently run rough. They can be cleaned though the dealer will usually just replace it.
Good luck & let us know what they find!

They checked the MAF said not that....checked some other things, I don't recall....said not that. The service mgr, who knows me well as a result of my previous Chrysler, not a Crossfire, drove it and said....bring it back when it is doing it again, well keep checking it. So, guess I'll do that. Are there things I should be watching for when this happens again?

Do you have a check engine light on?

I personally would say to check the O2 sensors, then the fuel injectors.

After two service calls and days of aggravation with this hesitatation, they finally found and replaced the "left oxygen upstream sensor" on the third visit. Guess it will take a few days to determine if the problem is solved.
