If the tires were off the ground and under no load I can't really see any way that they could cause your vibration.

Code:
I would have said flat spots, our 1992 Vette got them on F1 when it sat for a few months. Max pressure and a sort drive to heat up the tires got them out. Now its sits on pads to stop flat spots.

Do you konw if there was any of the flat stop gel in the tires? if someone had put that in there it would have all settled in the bottom and could cause the problem.
Franc I didn't have any repair gel in mine either. My first thought was flat spots from sitting being stored as well. That is why I didn't post any question about it here (and the problem went away with a few miles). But I guess the question in my mind is the flat spot explanation works for me because my car was stored on the ground. I still don't see how that explanation applies to your car?

Call me confused or dumb (sometimes I can be pretty dense) but we both experienced the same issue with two completely different storage scenarios? I'm happy that both of our cars "fixed" themselves I just don't think we have a consistent cause for the effect we both had?

Stay safe...

Respectfully,

Paul (MisterTaz)

God doesn't want those cars driven in the winter, shame on you! That was the big man's way of warning you.

Hi, I would read this from TireRack on flat spots. The new high performace low profiles have a compound that will flat spot if not stored correctly. At a $1000+ a set I would do somthing when storing them to prevent flat spots. I have heard from 8-10 layers of carpet to $300 on a pad that will prevent them. If we are storing for a very long time we take the tire off and store them.
