Talking Working on the fuel controller

I wanted to get a better fuel pressure regulator to do the fuel controller for my tunes and needed an adjustable one. Got one nice regulator from Rob and noticed that it wanted double o ring AN style fittings.

Went to try to buy them and found that they are way expensive and ran up to like $25 per port????????? Crap, I just wanna connect ot the regulator and add a barb fitting for the fuel lines...........................Not to do experiments with $75.00 of "you have to order those".

Checked and the fittings were almost 3/8" pipe threads so I bored them out and then tapped the holes to accept the standard low ego fittings. ITs a Car.

If you have not had the opportunity to do this type of thing , heres a few shots of the work that is needed. The Right end of the block is threaded with the 3/8" thread. The left side is the original NON tapered thread for the AN fittings. You can also see the tap I used and what a tap is, makes female threads.

Enjoy the weekend, Woody
