Exclamation Forum's BAS/ESP solution

Today I had a new Battery installed in my Crossfire. As I was driving to work from the Firestone Store (with my new Interstate MTP91 battery as recommended on the Forum), I noticed that the BAS/ESP light was on.

No panic, when I got to work I checked the forum and found that after a battery change you may need to reset the light. Easy, "with the car on turn the steering wheel all the way right, then all the way left. Turn car off and then restart." The BAS/ESP is now off. Another problem solved and a win for the folks on the Crossfire Forum!!!!!

Glad it worked for you, I've been down that road with both my Crossfire and our Mercedes. The Mercedes needed a steering angle sensor......

We've had issues with that light before. The dealer could never find the problem. It turns out that one slightly low tire can set it off even before setting of the TPS light.

I just put my Relay Control Module after a Tighed1 solder repair and the Me So Horny Mod and got this light. Thanks for the problem info and repair solution. I knew I'd read about it somewhere before. The light is out. Much Appreciated - Larry
