Default Brake Upgrades

Not that the Crossfire really needs bigger brakes, but in this case, bigger IS better (and I'm simply curious). I put larger A8 rotors on my A4 using the caliper carriers from a TT to move the pads out. The brakes work well and look great.

I'm wondering if similar, relatively low-cost upgrades are possible by swapping out M-B parts.

Any info?

There are brake upgrades available from Renntech. Go to http://www.crossfireshop.com. They are fairly expensive, and probably not what you are looking for from what you said in the post. Not sure what else is available besides that... if you find anything, let me know.

Does anyone know where I can get ceramic pads for the Crossfire? I switched the pads on my Prowler and I never had a problem with brake dust and the stopped just as good.

I'm sure there are some available... just look for SLK 320 brake pad upgrades... same brakes, and they have been out for a while so I am sure there are some out there...

Hey, TP150 if you find some post the maker & stock number, I'd like to change mine too. Sounds like a good idea to me. I hate brake dust and never thought of changing the pads.
