Can you put a supercharger on a crossfire?
If you are talking about putting a SC on a NA XFire, this has been discussed ad nauseum in other posts. You could physically mount a SC to the NA engine, but without upgrading the internals(cost prohibitive), your newfound joy would be short lived.

The NA is rated by Chrysler at 215HP and the SRT is rated at 330HP

And if he is someone just messin', no big deal. Not exactly a novel bit of originality. Or bravery.
No worries.
Darticus, I suggest you connect with a local chapter and participate in some GTG's.
Best way to get to know more about your car.
Meanwhile, welcome. And don't let these old fools mess with you.

Miscellaneous parts and electronics to try and make it all work - $3500
Feeling a lump in your throat AND your pants when throw a rod through your oil pan - PRICELESS

Given the price of an '05 SRT6 and a comparable '05 or '06 NA why would anyone want to go thru the trouble?
05 SRT6 coupe $16K to $19K
05 NA LTD coupe $13K to $15k
Even if it didn't blow up, the Limited would still be a Limited.
If what you have is an NA and you want that much more power, trade up. If it costs you $5K or $8K more you are still ahead. And 10-20 years from now the NA's will be neat little cars. The SRT6 will be a gullwing.
Or a paper weight.
The mongrel created from the NA morphed supercharger will just be a mutt.

rcompart, is that what happened to your N/A i never read about it? i just noticed that one day your signature changed and you had an srt? can i get the story or the link to the thread where it went all wrong?
I kept it pretty quiet because the last thing anyone wants to hear about is someone destroying their car and we never figured out the actual cause of the failure but the long and the short of it is I got everything installed, drove it around a little the day before taking it to the tuner and while we were on the first pull around 3000-3500RPM, my car made the loudest noise I've ever heard. Not sure why it gave it up then and not later on in the pull but that doesn't really matter now does it. LOL Put in a used engine I picked up locally and shortly thereafter, the insurance company totaled the car out for unrelated reasons. I picked up the SRT a month later and the rest is history.
Moral of the story...it IS cheaper to trade it your NA for an SRT if you want more power. LOL
