fuel changes

Default fuel changes

i have been into a lot of the modules in the crossfire with the DRB 111 alot of things can be changed.there are 3 grades of fuel to program this engine to run on.has anyone changed there crossire to run on the top level of fuel,i think it was 96 octang.did it help performance.the TPM module can be changed to winter for the guys upnorth.does it help keep the low tire light out.

When I read this thread I wondered if the setting could be changed in the other direction so I took the car to the dealer and had the Crossfire tech check it out and the setting can be changed to 89 octane but not to 87 so I'm now running 89 octane. Can't see any performance difference and it will be awhile before I can check any change in fuel mileage.

soooo...10 cents diff in 89 vs 91 octane, 12,000 miles at 20mpg = $60 saved per year. I will just drink less beer and get water at starbucks instead... :cry:
