Fuel Gauge Accuracy
I have a question about the fuel gauge.
If I remember correctly, currently out of the country and away from my toy, the manual states that the tank capacity is 15.8 gallons. Last week on a fishing trip from lake Okeechobee back to Amelia Island my gauge was reading less than , closer to 1/8 tank. After filling to the neck I was only able to put in 11.2 gallons. By my calculations, I should have been able to add +13.5 gallons. I appreciate the fact that it is better that the gauge indicate that I have less fuel than reality but wanted to see if it was just 3838 or any one else had noticed the same. :?:

The possible answer is that the reserve of 2.1 us Gal. should be subtracted. In other words the gage registers 1/4 tank left but in reality you have the 1/4 plus the reserve of 2.1 gal. -- Thanks Ed.
