Eibach springs and rear sitting too low
Hi guys,
I have put on the Eibach springs and find the rear sitting too low. I want to raise it up some. Where do you guys get these rubber spring mounts from that you mention in the forum? Chrsyler only lists one part number for them. Any help appreciated.
Thx,
Brian.

Not always in stock and not always for a fair price. In my island they didn't have them and wanted a fortune for them. Heck, they wanted $60 for the camber bolts! But yes, he could have checked at the local MB dealer if he knew the part number. If he asked for a Crossfire spring pad they would have showed him the door. Not everyone knows how to work the MB parts system.

i walk in and tell them its for a crossfire, they dont care, hell i take my car there.
they always stare at it, its a good convo piece.
the pads are like 20 bucks, the camber bolts are 30 a piece so that sounds right

I paid $4.99 each for the spring pads at performanceproducts4benz. I found the camber bolts for around $10.00 each but was in a hurry so I paid the dealer price. (can't remember where I found that price) The MB dealer is always where I go first but after they give me their price I take myself and my queezy stomach to the online MB parts suppliers and get the same part for much less.

No my friend, you need to care. The more people that are willing to overpay the easier it is for prices to go up. The more people that look for the best deal the more pressure on the dealers to keep prices reasonable, for when we have no choice. This is not pre bank crisis. This is post bailout crisis, etc. and money is tight for everyone. My business has seen tremendous deflation in prices. I have no intention of paying 1 penny more than necessary until things get better, and who knows if that will happen sooner or later. Get with the program!

All,
I had the Koni/Eibach combo installed on my 2005 Limited Roadster. Went with the TVT recommended front/rear spring pad sizes of 5 dot/21mm front,
1 dot/5mm rear as opposed to the stock (?) 2 dot/9mm front, 3 dot/13mm rear. The thread never specified coupe or Roadster, only SRT or N/A.The drop in front resulted in a fender/tire gap of approx. 1 inch - good to go. The rear however is SLAMMED !!!!!!!! Approx. 1/4 inch gap between fender and tire (stock size Michelins P/S 2 A/S's with a full bag of gas). Am hoping a set of 4 dot 17mm pads/shims/isolators will get the body off the tires. The scuffing I saw in the rear wells (while getting the TPMS sensors replaced).at top center I attribute to the additional negative camber introduced with the shorter springs. Verified coils were installed right side up. Theory is additional ( ~ 200 pounds +) weight of the convertible/Roadster, particularly aft is the culprit. Then I can move on to getting the TVT adjustable camber/toe/caster rods/bolts installed.

i did the koni w/ b&g spring combo with tvt camber bars and 4 dots in the front and 1 dot in the rear. in less than 50 miles i bent the inner fender lip on all 4 sides!!rubbed everywere. out came the b&g springs and the #2 pads in the front and left the #1 pads in the rear with the oem eibachs. sits higher but no more crashing the fenders!
watch for rubbing when you get the adj camber arms with a drop. i had my car lowered for almost 2yrs no rubbing, once i finally fixed the alignment( cam bolts front and arms for the rear) i immediately noticed rubbing the negative camber in the rear w/o the adj cam arms prevented the rubbing.
