Can someone rate and post reviews if the bigger K&N filter is helping the 1/4 mile times? I hear that the filter will flow DOUBLE the CFM then our original NeedsWings CAI filter. Thanks.

 

I did see someone using the xstream but damn if I can't remember who. I will keep looking but hopefully they will see this thread and speak up. i too am curious if it really makes a difference. atleast a difference worth the price increase

 

I've used both and didn't notice a difference at the track. I've kept the extreme filter on just to make sure I get plenty of air. Not sure what the rated flow is for the original filter, but based on my datalogs, with the Code3 pulley, I flow approx. 590 CFM at the top of third gear.

 

I am also using the extreme filter and haven't notice any differences at the track. At least it looks cooler!

 

That's bad news! No wonder this filter is not popular here. Too bad there is no dyno right?
