Windshield wipers no longer function
Morning all!
Before I start, I'll state what I know:
Thankfully, there's no rain in the forecast until the weekend, but it's still frustrating. All other electronic functions are working properly and without a hitch.
Could it be tied to fuse #20 in some weird way? Or would an ailing battery cause the wipers to croak?
I didn't try the windshield jets; scared to, because they would be the ONLY thing that would work, and then I'd be stuck with a REALLY messed up windshield.
Currently, the fog is clear and we have a gorgeous Tennessee day ahead of us. BUT, it'll eventually rain one of these days.
Any thoughts?
Before I start, I'll state what I know:
- The car took not one, not two, but THREE clicks on the remote this morning before the doors would unlock
- It still has original battery (Benz logo on it)
- Fuse #20 is currently pulled until I can properly wire the motor circuit for rear wing swap

Try looking at the electrical diagram and see if # 20 fuse does tie in to the wiper circut, or just put the fuse back in and see if they work, if you have your wing wiring all disconnected, quikest way for first check out.

Well then, that means I need to find a more permanent fix for my spoiler then, doesn't it?
Thanks for the tip.

Yep, that's the thread. I was just trying the fuse fix for as long as possible until I could do a more permanent job.
Never planned on the wipers being affected, LOL. Don't take the cigarette lighter out, or the headlights won't work

. It was probably manufactured in 2004 (as mine was) I say replace it now because you are on borrowed time IMO.
