Question Panel warning lites & spoiler up

Panel fail lites on & Spoiler stuck up - Yesterday , 05:33 PM

Lites on ABS, Bas,ESP, Brake, Engine, Brake wear Lites.
After repairing 2 wires (Criter Damage) one in abs system and one in brake wear circuit and extensive check out. Went for a test ride and all normal. When pulling in the drive way The above lites came on and the spoiler drove up was able to drive down manually. Shut down and restarted all lite back on and spoiler drove up and stayed up.

Wrung out every ciruit between the BCM and the CAB including grounds and Power and x links.. All ok Battery voltage 13.5 v.
Tried a used BCM that was worse with the Wipers and interior lites not working. Tried a new BCM because of the spoiler with same problem.

It cost $180 for the first hour and computer test at the dealer. Which I am sure will not pin down this problem

Tried a good battery still no help. Found out if you happen to have locked the doors and start removing the battery the alarm goes on and could not control , finally stopped by itself and Car battery removed. Came back on with the newer battery and stopped by itself. The key switch was no help
Have noted with the engine light on and shifting it to gear very hard. Rpm is up also.

Still Looking for any suggestions. I have scoured all the manual descriptions and wiring prints for anything common. Going to start over.

Wink Re: Panel warning lites & spoiler up

After fixing the original lite problems with 2 bad rear wheel speed sensors and getting all the scan codes reset. Started having BAC/ESP light coming after start and would go out at 25MPH. That graduated to the Spoiler going up and fail lite on inthe start position. After start the ABS was on with the BAC/ESP light. After reaching 25 mph all lites out and spoiler fail lite out and able to clos manually and speed check at 64mph spoiler operated normal.

Decided to go back to the battery (Original) that had been serviced to cover the plates during the original problems. Decided to service the battery to the top of the cell tubes and put on charge overnight with draining the overflow tank a couple of times.

Voltage to start was 13.5 volts. After overnight charge Voltage was 13.9 and charge amperage was down to 1.5 from 6 amps.

Started the car and all has been normal in the last 10 starts.

Will probably change the battery but concerned about the BCM sensitivity on any new battery with voltages appearing ok. Though the battery is 6 years old.

Have MOPAR warranty on a new BCM that was purchased for the original problems and never did work the spoiler system. Will try it when I get it and see what happens.

Have a later model rag top sitting in our village with the spoiler up and has not moved in a couple of days. Havent found the owner.

Moral of the story With any spoiler problems check the battery. Just cause it starts ok does not mean anything.

I wish I could offer some help, but my spoiler has been up with the BAS/ABS and ESP lights on for the last few months, I have been trying to figure out a way to diagnose without taking to the dealer, so far, no luck. If you figure it out, keep me posted.

I have an almost brand new battery as well.

Have you tried turning your steering wheel all the way to the left and then all the way to the right while not moving?

Bill, if you are talking to me, then the answer is yes.

I have tried every thing anyone has mentioned, including taking all the wheels off, cleaning all the sensors, etc.

I need to break down and go to the stealership, but I refuse.

If you weren't talking to me, then disregard

Thanks for the reply, seems this issue has only plagued a few, and those few have sucked it up and went to the dealer (the dealer is the only one who can read codes out of the BAS/ESP and ABS modules). My dealer wants minimum $100 for the code read alone, and that is robbery.
