so ive heard these cars weighed anything from 3070 to 3170 depending on the model and i just happened to be at the track this weekened and decided id weigh her in. well with me in the car (170) she only weighed 3140lb??? so whats the deal man? that means my car is only 2970lb. so tell me what does your car weigh?

 

Honest;y never wieghed mine but she has lost about 180 lbs so far. When this thing becomes a dedicated play car that wieght will drop much more.

I am only judging off the blackened windshield surround on your avatar picture, but you drive a base coupe, correct?

If this is the case, that is why your weight is less. Last I read, the base coupe is just south of 3K lbs. Without the heated, leather seats, some of the sound deadening material, etc. we are somewhat lighter than our limited cousins and several hundred pounds lighter than the SRT (if I recall correctly)

 

The last time I took her to the track, the scales where down. I am sure someone with an SRT has dragged her across the scales, so I am curious what it came to be. Great topic

 

Mine was 3200lb's without me in it. I was worried I would hurt the scale if I added my big A to the mix.
